3D Marines 10K 2008 Race Review The Kaneohe Marine Core Base 3D Marine 10K was run on Saturday April 26, 2008 at 7A. The weather was sunny and warm as about 100 runners finished. The race course starts at the large field by the main gate. The course runs over the first hill turning right by the fighter jet up to the officers club and back down to the golf course. At the T in the road, you turn left going through the main housing area up the second hill where there is a down hill at the top to the ocean. Once you are down by the ocean, runners follow the road turning right at the end and going around the back end of the large field. One block past the large field, runners make a right turn running another 400 meters until another right hand turn and 400 meters till the finish line. Refreshements included gatoraid, bananas, oranges and water. Medals were given out in 5 year age divisions for 1st through 3rd. Last Updated: April 26, 2008 |
