Gift of Life 5K The Gift of Life 5K & Kidney Fair was held at Ala Moana Park this Saturday, May 6, 2006. The 5K started at 8A and was a ussual course for Ala Moana Park with a loop around Magic Island.
After the race, there was a hot cooked breakfast including chicken, rice & vegies, sodas, jamaba juice, coffee, cupcakes, oatmeal cookies, pineapples, apples & other refeshments.
The entertainment included Samoan Dancing, Hawaii's Idol Singers, Reggie Bands, and other live entertainment. There was a health fair and expo where you could get your kidneys checked. There was even free massages. Alot of door prizes were given out too. This is a great race to do next year! Last Updated: May 6, 2006 |
