(from left) Dog The Bounty Hunter stars Tim Youngblood
Chapman, Duane Dog Chapman, and Beth Smith, pose after the 10th
Annual Race Against Violence 5K Run award ceremony at the Manoa
Rec Center with race organizer Connie Comiso who also won in her
age category (50~54), emcee Kirk Matthews of KHON 2 Morning News,
and First Circuit Court Judge Steven S. Alm. Beth is holding a special
trophy that Duane presented to her for finishing her first race.
Duane "the Dog" Chapman and partner Beth
Smith, stars of the #1 A&E hit Dog The Bounty Hunter, appeared
at the 10th Annual Race Against Violence 5K Run this past Sunday,
April 2, 2006, at the Manoa Recreation Center in
Honolulu. The couple put women/child abusers at the top of their
list when
going after fugitives.
They were slated only to assist at the awards ceremony, but Smith
decided
to also do the 5K Run, which started at 7 a.m. Smith started working
with
a trainer to get in shape for her upcoming nuptials on May 20th,
and
thought this was a good cause to really come out for. This was her
very
first race ever, so Dog presented her with a big trophy for her
efforts!
