Runnin for Cole 5K Editorial by: John Burns The Runnin For Cole 5K was held on Saturday, May 20. There were 28 finishers. Proceeds benefited cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services. Cole was treated and cured of a rare form of cancer when he was 1 year old, and is now almost 4 years old. His family is active in the Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. More information about their important cause can be found at http://www.runninforcole.com The 5K run was actually about 2.7 miles. It started on the Pearl
Harbor Bike Path in the middle of the Neal Blaisdell Park in Pearl
City. The course went east on the path for about 100 yards to the
other side of a bridge, then turned around in the opposite direction
for a little over a mile. Just before It was a great day for a run amid fantastic scenery. This was one of those many races during the year, which supports a most noble and worthy cause. Runnin For Cole 5k 2006 Results
